Google Maps Gets Its Own Version of Clippy
Google Maps has just launched a number of updates that make Street View much more prominent.
Now, whenever you’re viewing a map where there is Street View imagery available, you’ll be able to drag “Pegman” from the view slider to the street where you’d like to see a picture.
When you’re using Pegman to navigate Street View, you also now get a smaller version of the original map in the lower right corner, allowing you to navigate all from the same screen.
